The SIFN Band Council Building is a 17,400 sq ft office building located in Sheshatshiu, NL. This facility has been designed to further the delivery of essential services to the community including Housing Services, Economic Development, Public Works, Aboriginal Skills and Employment Training Strategy, and as a space for Chief and Council to operate, host meetings and engage with the public.

The SIFN Band Council Building is situated such that it takes advantage of scenic views overlooking the beautiful Lake Melville. The exterior has been finished with red brick banding and includes sections of detailed buff brick masonry which have been designed to reflect geometric patterns/ motifs seen on traditional Innu clothing. Colours which reflect local natural elements have been selected to further integrate/ marry this building with the surrounding land. The SIFN Band Council Building is currently under construction until Mid year 2027.
